The research center carries out TCM evidence-based study and immunoregulation study, with the funding supports from the National Health Research Institutes, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, and the Department of Medical Research at CMUH, Taiwan.

 

In addition to TCM clinical trials, the research center set up a high throughput cellular TCM screening platform, combined with an immune cell differentiation and regulation screening platform and preclinical disease models, performing studies on the TCM efficacy, immunotherapeutics, and related mechanisms by screening and verification models.

 

Dr. Hung-Rong Yen received an interview on “new-generation Chinese medicine” by the Common Health magazine in Issue No. 204 in 2015, with the interview title Hung-rong Yen who turns Chinese medicine from alternative to mainstream therapy in Taiwan. In November of the same year, he received an overseas phone interview on TCM study by the Editor-in-Chief of the British RCHM magazine. He was also invited to give lectures in WHO Collaboration Center for Traditional Medicine, UNESCO, and the Headquarters for Healthcare Policy, Cabinet Secretariat, Japan.
